Overlooking the Hilton Barbados Resort

Well here we are again in Barbados. Last time the Crazy Chef published a video about cooking steak on the beach. The Hilton Resort is set on a gorgeous peninsula with white beaches and is really a dream away from home for travellers in search of adventure and stunning natural beauty. The airport and city centre are both conveniently located nearby. From here you can organise diving and sailing trips and there is nothing like a night time dinner aboard a luxury catarmaran. The picture shows the beach from the Hilton down to the Radisson Aquatic Resort.

Steak on the beach in Barbados

Well on a good day just drag your electric cooker down to the beach to cook a nice juicy steak in front of the waves (all electrical and safety rules -OSHA complied with, though it was difficult). Perhaps it would have been better to do it on a camping stove.

Horses love swimming in Carlisle Bay

If you are out and about early on the beach at Carlisle Bay, just south of Bridgetown in Barbados you are likely to see the locals take their horses out for a swim.

Don't get sunburnt!

Whatever you do make sure that you don't get sunburnt. In the cooler months with cloud cover the sun can still penetrate.

                For sunburn the locals use Aloe Vera leaves from the local trees and it seems to work ok.
